Background
Epworth district is an informal settlement situated in the Harare peri-urban area. Young women and girls in this area can be exposed to sexual exploitation and abuse. These young women face sexual and reproductive health challenges including high and increasing STIs. This is due to limited knowledge levels on STIs, low condom use, low uptake of STI services, high reported cases of sexual violence and negative attitudes of health workers in providing STI screening and treatment services to young women.
